On Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM, we invite you to the Oton Župančič Library (3rd floor), where a round table on the topic of The Work and Character of Miki Muster will be held. The round table guests will be Janez Grm, Iztok Sitar and Žiga Valentič.
On the 100th anniversary of the birth of the father of Slovenian comics, researchers of this medium will talk about his characters, the importance of his comics in the past and today, the circumstances of their creation and changes over time. They will try to place adventure, detective, romantic stories, cowboy and science fiction comics in a socio-historical context, and at the same time spice up the comics, which have been known to at least four generations, with some hitherto lesser-known anecdotes from the author’s life and work. Pia Nikolič will talk to the authors.
