Miki Muster is undoubtedly the most famous Slovenian comic-book author. His stories The Adventures of Trickster, Hardie and Hungerly are timeless and have long been embraced by Slovenians as their own. Nevertheless, Miki always emphasized that he was primarily an animator. In this role he also gained international recognition, as he spent many years abroad creating animated films at an extraordinary pace.
His body of work is almost unbelievable. He created well over 5,000 daily comic strips and produced approximately ten hours of animation. It should be noted that Miki did almost everything himself: from scripting and animating to copying drawings and painting backgrounds. He entrusted others only with filming and coloring. He often worked up to sixteen hours a day, drawing even while traveling to the seaside or skiing in the mountains. Vacations were constantly filled with deadlines and concerns about whether the finished work would reach the editorial office on time.
Everything Miki has created so far is difficult to present in a clear and comprehensive list. The lists that follow are therefore by no means complete and are intended merely as a supplement. I would like to thank in advance everyone who has helped, or will help, to co-create this website.
